Himmel Park, south of the library

Himmel parkrun is a free 5K at Himmel Park, 1000 N Tucson Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716. It is every Saturday. The start is 7:00 a.m. from May through September and 8:00 a.m. from October through April. October 5, 2026 is in the 8:00 a.m. season. The event starts directly south of the library near the 1st Street parking lot. parkrun says it is free. Register before the first visit and bring a scannable barcode. No barcode, no result. Children under 11 must stay within arm’s reach of a parent, guardian, or an adult the parent chooses.

Every Saturday. 7:00 a.m. May–September. 8:00 a.m. October–April. Local clock is Mountain Standard Time. Start: directly south of the library near the 1st Street parking lot. Park at the northern lot near the library, from 1st Street, or the west lot from Tucson Blvd. Street parking is also on Treat Street and 1st Street. Parking can be limited.

People who register. Children under 11 stay with an adult.

October through April starts at 8:00 a.m. May through September starts at 7:00 a.m. Do not use the other season’s clock. The page says the event is free.

How to join

Register once at parkrun before the first visit, then bring a scannable barcode. A forgotten barcode means no time. Read the course page if it is your first Himmel event.
