Arizona Women’s Climbing Coalition and the Sonoran Senders meet at The Bloc on the first Thursday of the month. Climb from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Informal social hour at 8:00 p.m. Women and genderqueer climbers, all skill levels. Non-members pay a $10 day pass, rental equipment included. Gym members are free. First-time visitors of The Bloc pay a $20 orientation that includes gear, orientation, a day pass, and entrance to Boulders & Brews. The gym is at 8975 E Tanque Verde Road #155, Tucson, AZ 85749. The October first Thursday was October 1, 2026, which has passed. This page does not list a separate next date. Thursday, October 8 is not this night.

How to join

Show up on the first Thursday at 6:30 p.m. First-time Bloc visitors need the $20 orientation. Bring climbing gear or ask the gym about shoe rental. The page says shoe rental can be an extra small fee.
