Not open to join this week. Gates pickleball has the next date. The schedule below is what the organizer published, not a session you can walk into now.
Gates is a public tennis and pickleball center in Denver, pay as you play, with no residency rule. The pickleball page describes open play and a Friday night social mixer, and it labels those offers as summer. It does not print an October weekly grid.
Open play is described as daily, recreational through competitive, ladies, seniors, and combo. The page says $10.50 a visit, or $55 for eight visits. The Friday social mixer is printed as 6:00–9:00 p.m. all summer, $12, with signup seven days ahead. Court rental, separate from open play, is $8 an hour for tennis and $7 an hour for pickleball.
Open play says every skill level. Competitive open play is described as 4.0 and above. Junior programs start at age 4. The Friday mixer is for adults who sign up.
Checked October 3, 2026. The open-play and mixer copy still says summer. The general-info page lists 2026 summer building hours and a winter process that releases courts during the day after weather checks. The street address is the center’s published location; the rates page itself did not repeat the street.
How to join
Do not assume Friday night or a daily open-play hour is on this week. Open the Gates pickleball page and sign up only for a session that is actually posted. Court rental is a separate reservation.
