A Pikes Peak Region nonprofit that takes newcomers hiking, biking, climbing, and paddling. Visit Colorado Springs describes the work as free, donation-based, and discounted programs since 2013. Little Hikers is the standing family series: one Saturday morning a month. Other outings, including the Manitou Summit Series, are individual dates.
Little Hikers is a short, usually stroller-friendly walk and a craft. The Eventbrite listing says $15 per family for the season, RSVP required, no pets, and an adult with every child. The October 24, 2026 date was labeled the last hike of that listing.
Beginners, families, and anyone who wants company outside.
How to join
RSVP on the program’s Eventbrite or the date posted at upadowna.org. Do not show up at the Manitou Avenue address expecting a hike — that is the listed home base.
