A Meetup hiking group organized by Emery Layton, with 218 members on October 3, 2026. The group’s page describes local training hikes and weekend 14er climbs, with carpools from Colorado Springs. It is not a weekly standing time. Colorado Mountain Club is a different club and is listed separately.
Open the Meetup and RSVP only to a trip that is still listed. The usual carpool point on recent events is a Safeway on Village Center Drive.
People who want company on a training hike or a 14er. Read the route before you commit.
Public RSVP counts on recent trips were thin (one or two people). A listed hike can still be a small group. The Village Center address is the carpool on the October and November events we read, not a clubhouse.
